AgeSin RH-A5605E Rheological Agent

AgeSin® RH-A5605E is a liquid rheology additive used in composite applications such as vinyl ester, epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin and gel coat to enhance the rheological properties of fumed silica. It makes fumed silica easier to incorporate, prevents delamination, and increases and stabilizes thixotropic behavior.

Room temperature curing resin system:

AgeSin® RH-A5605E is used as a thixotropic enhancer in unsaturated polyester resins containing fumed silica or organoclay as rheological additives, epoxy and polyurethane systems. Ensuring a low amount of silica or organoclay is also sufficient to ensure high anti-sagging performance and improve leveling and degassing properties.A small amount of AgeSin® RH-A5605E (5% of silica) can stabilize silica in laminated resins to prevent resin delamination during storage.

In vinyl resins, AgeSin® RH-A5605E can activate hydrophilic fumed silica. This additive can be used in various resins, including polyether polyols to prevent filler sedimentation. Stabilize molecular sieves such as zeolites.

Adhesives & sealants:

AgeSin® RH-A5605E increases thixotropy by enhancing the hydrogen bonding of fumed silica or organoclay. It can be used in polyurethane, acrylate and other systems.

Fumed silica in vinyl resins: 20-50%

Fumed silica in other resins: 10-30%

Organoclay: 5-20%
